Solutions Group is looking for qualified candidates for a QA Analyst position
with one of our clients in the Cleveland, OH area.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Have strong problem solving skills and will work
closely with both the development team and the business managers.
Will create clear test plans.
Develop testing procedures for both new and
Create and execute manual and automated tests,
and document test results.
Responsible for test plan design, development,
documentation, and execution for system change requests and system
admin-related for business applications.
Communicates test status with business analysis
and project team members.
Soliciting changes and/or feedback and
updating/maintaining test plan as appropriate for repeatable use.
When required, review business processes with
end users to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements that need to
be translated to solid test scripts/plans.
Responsible for documenting QA processes and
Responsible for tracking and reporting the
status of issues, escalation of issues and following through with issues until
implement changes, document and train users on new processes while adhering to
specific compliance measures required by SOX.
Facilitate group meetings as necessary to
confirm understanding of issues and requirements.
Potential on-call support outside of normal
working hour as necessary during critical times.
SharePoint ticket maintenance.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems, MIS or related technology or engineering field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with HPQuick Test Pro and Load.
Runner nice to have, but not required.
Experience with Microsoft development tools and Subversion tools.
Working knowledge of ASP.net. Experience with
regression testing, developing test plans and test cases.
Ability to organize and work on multiple tasks
at the same time; able to work independently as well as effectively within a
team environment. Ability to share knowledge with internal support team as well
as train end users.
Database experience required.
